New York Jets offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker (calf) is expected to miss time with a calf injury he suffered in the Week 5 win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday, but there is optimism heading into his MRI exam that it's just a calf injury and not an Achilles injury, according to sources. It's not obvious heading into his MRI exam that he's dealing with a torn Achilles, so he should be able to play again this year. How much time the 24-year-old misses is still to be determined.
