One of the surprising names at the top of the leaderboard during qualifying at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday afternoon was Riley Herbst. He is driving the No. 36 Ford for Front Row Motorsports in this weekend's YellaWood 500 and was the fastest driver during the first round of qualifying. In the second round, Herbst ended up 6th-fastest, which is where he will start in the race. While that high qualifying effort pretty much eliminates any potential DFS usage for Herbst this weekend, he could still pull off a good finish. He ended up in 10th-place in the season-opening Daytona 500 and finished 20th in the first Talladega race this year.--Jordan McAbee
