Edmonton Oilers center Ryan McLeod (undisclosed) is reportedly progressing well and should be ready for action again soon. The Oilers expect to have him available for one or two preseason games. McLeod was injured at the start of training camp a week ago. The 24-year-old did a great job as a bottom-six piece for the Oilers last season, scoring 11 goals and delivering 12 assists in 57 appearances while also demonstrating strong defensive ability.
