Buffalo Sabres right wing Jack Quinn (Achilles) is progressing well in rehab but isn't expected to see game action anytime soon. The talented winger had surgery for an Achilles tendon injury suffered in offseason training near the end of June, and he was slated to be out for 4-6 months. General manager Kevyn Adams has noted that Quinn will still need to put in a lot of work to be ready even if he is cleared to start skating again. Quinn, who turned 22 just a few days ago, had a nice debut campaign in the league last term, recording 37 points (14 goals, 23 assists) in 75 outings.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
