Jameson Williams Throws Punch At Teammate

Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams, who will be suspended for the first six games of the 2023 season, threw a punch at rookie cornerback Starling Thomas at training camp practice on Monday and has reportedly struggled with multiple dropped passes. Williams let his frustration get the best of him on Monday, and he hasn't been making the most of his summer repetitions so far in camp. The 22-year-old also missed the beginning of camp with a mild leg injury, but he's back practicing now. Williams missed most of his rookie campaign in 2022 while recovering from a torn ACL, and so far early in his NFL he continues to disappoint. Still, the upside is intriguing enough to make him a late-round flier in single-year fantasy drafts this fall.
