The San Jose Sharks have signed goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood to a two-year, $4.7 million contract. San Jose didn't make a qualifying offer for Blackwood after acquiring his rights for a sixth-round draft pick at the start of the week, but the two parties were eventually able to work out a deal. The Sharks crease has been a merry-go-round in recent years and Blackwood is the latest goaltender picked up by the team. He posted a 65-57-18 career record with the Devils before moving to California. Blackwood will be competing with Kaapo Kahkonen for playing time in San Jose.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerRead More News
