Since his rookie season with the Jacksonville Jaguars, New England Patriots running back James Robinson's career hasn't gone as planned. At the end of the 2021 season, Robinson suffered a torn Achilles. After getting healthy and reclaiming a starting job in 2022, he was traded to the New York Jets, but he had a difficult time contributing in his time there. He was inactive the last five games and finished with 85 rushing yards in four games. But the 24-year-old now has a chance to compete for a role with the Pats behind lead back Rhamondre Stevenson. He also thinks he's fully past his Achilles tear and can run like he did as a rookie. Robinson has a chance to seize a role left by Damien Harris, but he'll have to compete with Pierre Strong Jr., Kevin Harris and Ty Montgomery.
