Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon capped off the 2022-23 NHL regular season with a huge performance against Nashville, scoring a hat trick and adding an assist in a 4-3 victory. It's his sixth career hat trick and the fifth four-point game of the season. MacKinnon lost 11 games to health issues during the season, but he still ended up with career-highs in all of the major offensive categories, recording 42 goals, 69 assists and 111 points. He averaged the third-most points in the league behind Edmonton's Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. MacKinnon also has a great scoring record in the playoffs, so he should be far from finished this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
