Sacramento State safety Marte Mapu (pectoral) recently tore his pectoral muscle while bench pressing and won't work out at his school's Pro Day on Friday. NFL teams have been looking at Mapu at safety and Will linebacker. It's a tough break for the first-team All-American and Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year in 2022. The injury will most likely cause him to fall in next month's draft, and Mapu won't be ready for the start of his rookie season in the NFL.
