The main tournament isn't the only crazy thing going on this March. The NIT saw no top seeds in the Final Four as well and now we are left with a battle of green. Being in Big 12(10) country, I thoroughly enjoyed the purple showdowns between K-State and TCU. I'm also looking forward to an arena full of green and two of the better nicknames: the Blazers and Mean Green.
UAB survived a pesky Utah Valley team. North Texas turned in a really good second half to knock out the last major conference team standing in Wisconsin. This is really going to be a fun one, especially since it's not two teams that we normally see squaring off for a title of any kind. Bring it on!

DraftKings DFS Captain - NIT Championship
Tylor Perry, North Texas ($15,000)
The Mean Green and Badgers combined for just 110 points in the semifinal, so Perry's 16 points and 29.75 DraftKings points aren't as bad as it may seem. UAB plays faster, so we should see the same from North Texas in this one. In the faster-paced game that the Mean Green played in this tournament, Perry put up 45.75 DraftKings points against Sam Houston State. There's a lot of potential here.
Jordan Walker, UAB ($14,400)
Walker was an absolute disaster in the NIT opener against Morehead State, but he has made up for it since. He has 77.5 DraftKings points over the last two games. He's a volume shooter and is about as efficient as Allen Iverson. If he ever shoots anywhere near 50%, he will single-handedly destroy a slate. That kind of potential is perfect for GPPs.
Ty Brewer, UAB ($8,400)
I wouldn't expect Abou Ousmane to return in any capacity, so Brewer won't have a lot of size to contend with. Brewer is the main reason that the Blazers are in this game. He made a staggering 13 of 17 shots from the floor against Utah Valley and racked up 60 DraftKings points. You put that in a captain spot? You're winning. Plain and simple. The bad news? Brewer scored just two points against Vanderbilt. Hey, no guts, no glory. Brewer is another perfect large-field GPP play.
Also consider: Kai Huntsberry, North Texas ($10,800); Eric Gaines, UAB ($11,100)

DraftKings DFS Utility - NCAA Tournament
Trey Jemison, UAB ($8,400)
The Blazers are going to have a size advantage here, especially if Ousmane remains out (as expected). Utah Valley had the guys to bang with Jemison, but he showed how valuable he could be in the first two rounds of this tournament. Either Jemison or Brewer will have a strong game here against North Texas. Good luck guessing which one. I'm likely running both in separate lineups just in case. I won't put them together. They seem to siphon production off of each other.
Rubin Jones, North Texas ($6,000)
Jones is mostly a scorer, but he is usually efficient from the floor, so it works out in this price range. He doesn't get enough opportunities to put up a difference-making score, but he is virtually guaranteed not to torpedo your lineup. That counts for something.
Moulaye Sissoko, North Texas ($4,800)
The absence of Ousmane has opened the door for Sissoko and he has responded with two strong games, helping advance the Mean Green to the title game. Sissoko is really good on the boards and a very efficient shooter. If he starts taking more shots, he could be even more of a difference-maker. They are going to need Sissoko up front, so he should see a ton of minutes in this one. He can't help but hit value at this price if he's playing 30 minutes again.
Also consider: Aaron Scott, North Texas ($8,000); Tony Toney, UAB ($1,600)
