Kyle Busch did wind up second at COTA when the 75 laps were complete. In the end, the Richard Childress Racing driver did not lead a single lap, but gained an important 39 points in the driver's standings. For perspective, Busch finished 1.4 seconds behind Tyler Reddick. On a 3.426-mile course, that's quite a distance considering Reddick cruised for most of the last lap. When it came to fastest laps, Busch's Chevy was 0.64 seconds slower than Reddick's Toyota. The irony lies in that the younger Busch lost to a modified version of Kurt Busch's car from last season.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
