Vegas Golden Knights left wing William Carrier has been ruled out indefinitely with a lower-body injury. He was hurt Friday against New Jersey and is set to start a lengthy absence with Sunday's contest versus Montreal. Carrier is mostly known for his physical presence and he has recorded 133 hits across 56 outings this season, but it's also been a career year for him offensively, with the 28-year-old having tallied 16 goals and 25 points. Paul Cotter was a healthy scratch on Friday and will get an opportunity to re-enter the lineup in Carrier's absence.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
