San Jose Sharks goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen suffered an undisclosed injury and had to exit the game Sunday versus Washington. With James Reimer battling an illness, Kahkonen made a fourth consecutive start but had to leave late in the second period when he was involved in a collision with Washington forward Evgeny Kuznetsov. Before being forced off, Kahkonen made 12 saves on 13 shots. Aaron Dell took over the crease and secured a 4-1 victory for the team with eight saves. Kahkonen has been in great form lately, so he will be badly missed if he suffered a significant injury, particularly with Reimer's status for the next game unknown at present.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
