Jaren Jackson Jr. Doubtful For Thursday's Action
Jaren Jackson Jr. (thigh) is doubtful for Thursday's game against Cleveland. The Grizzlies are finishing off a back-to-back situation and the team might elect to rest Jackson Jr., who has a sore right thigh. The 23-year-old had another productive game against Portland on Wednesday and has turned into a big piece for Memphis on both ends of the floor. He is averaging 16.5 points for the campaign with 6.7 rebounds and 3.3 blocks. With Steven Adams (knee) out, the Grizzlies frontcourt has already taken a big hit and Jackson Jr.'s absence would be a further blow. Brandon Clarke, who dropped to the bench in favor of Xavier Tillman on Wednesday, should find his way back to the starting unit against the Cavaliers if Jackson Jr. indeed can't play.
