The Detroit Tigers are moving in their fence in dead center field from 422 feet to 412 feet, starting with the 2023 season. Left field is being "relabeled" as 342 feet instead of 345 feet. It is not being moved in, but it's just a more accurate measurement. The height of the walls in center field will also be lowered from 8.5 feet to seven feet, with right-center field going from 13 feet to seven feet and right field from 8.5 feet to seven feet. The ballpark will lose the first row of seats in right field (around 50 seats total) because of the alterations. Comerica Park has long been known as a pitcher-friendly venue, and although these slight changes are unlikely to make a huge impact, they are certainly notable for the upcoming season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
