Boston Bruins winger Jake DeBrusk netted both goals as the team came from behind to beat Pittsburgh 2-1 in the 2023 NHL Winter Classic on Monday. He tied the game 7:46 into the third period when Kasperi Kapanen had given the Penguins the lead and DeBrusk then managed to notch the decisive goal with 2:24 remaining in regulation. The 26-year-old had a strong finish to 2022 with a run of five points in five games and his first effort in 2023 was very impressive as well. DeBrusk has earned himself a spot on the first line and it's given him an opportunity to be a regular offensive threat in 2022-23. He now boasts 16 goals and 14 assists through 35 appearances after collecting only 42 points during the whole campaign last term.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
