The San Francisco 49ers placed defensive lineman Hassan Ridgeway (pectoral) on Injured Reserve on Thursday and promoted cornerback Janoris Jenkins and wide receiver Willie Snead IV to the active roster from the practice squad for Thursday night's game against the Seattle Seahawks. Ridgeway strained his pectoral muscle in Week 13 and will now miss the last four games of the regular season, but the 28-year-old could be available for the first round of the postseason as long as he doesn't suffer a setback along the way. The Niners are getting thin on the interior of their defensive line late in the year. T.Y. McGill and Akeem Spence will see more playing time with Ridgeway sidelined for at least four weeks.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
