Kenneth Walker III May Have Avoided Serious Injury
Kenneth Walker III (ankle) didn't return to the Week 13 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams because of an ankle injury. Fortunately, head coach Pete Carroll seemingly provided a reassuring update following the game, indicating the rookie didn't suffer a sprain, instead, he "jammed" it. It's likely Walker, who had nine touchdowns heading into Sunday's meeting, will undergo further testing. However, it appears there's a chance he could be on the field versus the Panthers in Week 14. If he isn't, Travis Homer (knee, illness), who didn't play, may be the lead option out of the backfield. If he can't go either, DeeJay Dallas should handle most of the carries.
