Ottawa Senators forward Claude Giroux factored in both of the team's goals in Monday's 4-2 defeat to the Islanders, reaching nine games with his current point streak. He is now just one game short of matching his career-high 10-game run from 2016-17 and 2017-18. Giroux picked up a power-play assist on a Drake Batherson strike and had a goal himself as well, reaching eight markers for the campaign. The former Flyer has provided a major boost to his scoring numbers with recent outings, amassing five points in his past two games, to get to 17 points for the season. Giroux has always been a consistent scorer and hasn't slowed down one bit even with his 35th birthday only a couple of months away.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
