Russell Westbrook Listed As Day-To-Day
Russell Westbrook (hamstring) is listed as day-to-day. As a result, there's a chance he won't play in the season-opener against the Golden State Warriors. The 33-year-old tweaked his hamstring during Friday's preseason finale versus the Sacramento Kings. Fortunately, there is no structural damage, so even if Westbrook doesn't suit up on Tuesday, he may not be out long. It's unknown if head coach Darvin Ham plans on using him off the bench. However, Westbrook will still get his minutes regardless of his role and could even benefit from not sharing the floor with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
