New York Giants wide receiver Kenny Golladay played just two snaps in the Week 2 win over the Carolina Panthers after playing 77 percent of the snaps in the Week 1 win over the Tennessee Titans while catching two passes for 22 yards. Golladay, who signed a massive contract just a year ago, was replaced in the lineup by David Sills on Sunday. The bottom line, as league sources explain, is that Golladay's performance and playing time doesn't match his outsized contract. The Giants are running a meritocracy, and nothing is promised to any player, especially the ones that are holdovers from the Dave Gettleman-Joe Judge era.
