Cleveland Browns running back D'Ernest Johnson is a healthy scratch in Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. Offensive tackle Jack Conklin (knee) is also inactive in the regular season opener. Johnson will be in street clothes on the sidelines on Sunday with both Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt fully healthy for the kickoff of the 2022 regular season. The 26-year-old should remain on the waiver wire in most leagues unless Chubb or Hunt miss time with an injury. Johnson finished last year with 534 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Rookie fifth-rounder Jerome Ford will serve as the No. 3 back behind Chubb and Hunt to kick things off against Carolina.--Keith Hernandez
