The Cleveland Browns signed free-agent veteran offensive lineman Joe Haeg to an undisclosed deal on Sunday, according to a source. Haeg will provide depth at tackle and can also play guard. Right tackle Jack Conklin is working his way back from knee surgery, so the Browns wanted some insurance on the offensive line. Haeg met with the Las Vegas Raiders last week before signing with Cleveland. The 29-year-old former fifth-round selection by the Indianapolis Colts in 2016 out of North Dakota State played in 12 games (two starts) for the Pittsburgh Steelers last year before he was recently cut.
