Luis García Dealing With Groin Strain
Washington Nationals second baseman Luis García is absent from Saturday's starting lineup against the San Diego Padres. According to Mark Zuckerman of MASN, García is dealing with a "little groin strain" and is day-to-day. It has been a rough week for the 24-year-old after he missed Wednesday's game with a knee issue. He has looked solid in the majors this season, slashing .289/.301/.417 with four homers, 25 RBI, four walks, and 48 strikeouts. It remains to be seen if he'll be back in the lineup Sunday.
