Tim Anderson Suspended Three Games
Tim Anderson has been suspended three games for making contact with an umpire during Friday night's game against the Oakland Athletics. The incident occurred after Anderson took exception to a strike call by home plate umpire Nick Mahrley in the seventh inning, after which Anderson was thrown out of the game but continued arguing, seemingly bumping into Mahrley. Anderson has appealed the suspension, so he will stay in the White Sox lineup until a decision is made. Keep an eye on Anderson and if his suspension is upheld, make sure you have a backup plan ready.
