Anthony DeSclafani To Have Ankle Surgery Tuesday
Anthony DeSclafani (ankle) is set to undergo ankle surgery on Tuesday. The surgery will be performed in Green Bay and it will involve stabilizing his peroneal tendon. The projected recovery is four-to-five months, which means that DeSclafani should be ready for spring training next year if he can avoid any major setbacks. It was a rough season for the 32-year-old even before suffering the season-ending injury. He made just five starts and went 0-2 with a 9.95 ERA and a 2.05 WHIP.
