Ryan Pressly Implodes In Blown-Save Opportunity

Houston Astros reliever Ryan Pressly had a rough day at the office by blowing his third save of the season in the club's 7-6 loss to the Yankees on Thursday. The right-hander was handed a three-run lead to enter the ninth, but he promptly allowed two walks and then a homer to Aaron Hicks to tie the game before even recording an out. He would go on to allow two more singles, but was lifted in favor of Ryne Stanek who ultimately gave up the game-winning hit to Aaron Judge. Pressly now owns an underwhelming 4.26 ERA and 1.37 WHIP with a 15/8 K/BB through 19 IP. He has saved face with 14 saves on the year, but managers could use a little more help in his other roto categories.
