The Atlanta Hawks selected Duke forward AJ Griffin with the No. 16 pick of the 2022 NBA Draft. Griffin could have arguably gone earlier on Thursday night. However, he will now head to Atlanta, a team that's in a quasi-rebuilding phase. The 18-year-old averaged 10.4 points and 3.9 boards while shooting a whopping 44.7% from deep during his only year at the collegiate level. He was also named to the ACC All-Rookie Team, so he could be in line to make an immediate impact for fantasy managers. Yet, until Atlanta makes all of its offseason moves, it's unknown what Griffin's role will be, although he is worth a late-round addition in fantasy drafts for the 2022-23 campaign.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
