The Pittsburgh Steelers and All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick agreed to a massive four-year contract extension on Wednesday worth over $18.4 million per year with $36 million guaranteed at signing, according to a source. The deal makes Fitzpatrick the highest-paid safety in NFL history. The former first-rounder in 2018 cashes in after posting a career-high 124 tackles (84 solo), two interceptions, seven passes defensed, one forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 16 starts last year for Pittsburgh. Fitzpatrick was an All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection in both 2019 and 2020 and finished last season as the No. 5 fantasy defensive back in IDP leagues. He will once again be highly valuable in those formats in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
