Corey Knebel Suffers First Loss
Philadelphia Phillies relief pitcher Corey Knebel was handed his first loss of the season during Sunday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers. He entered the game in a scoreless tie in the ninth after two wonderful performances by both starting pitchers. The Brewers recorded two hits on Knebel and scored their lone run on a sacrifice fly. This was the first time that Knebel has allowed a run this season. He has been solid throughout the rest of his performances. Knebel will remain the closer in Philly and a reliable fantasy option.
