The Kansas City Chiefs signed free-agent linebacker Jermaine Carter, who was on a visit with the team on Friday. The former fifth-round pick out of Maryland has spent his entire four-year career with the Carolina Panthers. Carter hasn't missed a single game in his short time in the NFL and posted a career-high 88 tackles (38 solo), three tackles for loss, three QB hits, one pass defensed and a fumble recovery in 17 starts for the Panthers in 2021. The 27-year-old should have an opportunity to play plenty of defensive snaps in his first year with Kansas City's defense in 2022. Carter has just half a sack in 65 career games (30 starts).--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
