The Washington Commanders re-signed offensive tackle Cornelius Lucas to a two-year, $8.2 million deal on Thursday, according to his agent, Dan Saffron. Lucas will return for his third season in D.C. after providing offensive line depth for Washington the last two seasons. The 30-year-old filled in at left tackle for part of last season when Sam Cosmi was injured and started seven of his 15 games played in 2021. In 2020, Lucas started eight of 14 games played. He entered the league in 2014 as an undrafted free agent out of Kent State and spent his first three years in the NFL with the Detroit Lions before one-year stops with the Los Angeles Rams, New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears from 2017-19.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
