NCAA Tournament DraftKings DFS Lineup Picks for 3/24 - March Madness Daily Fantasy

JD Notae daily college fantasy basketball CFB DFS picks March Madness

Today's DraftKings NCAA Tournament DFS lineup picks for college basketball on 3/24/22. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice for 2022 March Madness.

68 teams started on their quest a week ago. We've eliminated 52 of those already. 16 are left standing, including one team that is strutting like a Peacock. They don't take center stage until Friday. Thursday brings us just one double-digit seed and both remaining two seeds.

We start with the chalk 1-4 matchup in the West between Gonzaga and Arkansas. 11-seed Michigan takes on Villanova to tip off the South region. The chalk 2-3 matchup in the West is next between Duke and Texas Tech. We finish the night with the five seed Houston taking on top seed Arizona in the South.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/24/22 starting at 6:10 pm Eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings DFS Guards - NCAA Tournament

JD Notae, Arkansas ($7,800)

Notae has racked up 72.25 DraftKings points in the first two games of the tournament. The poor game against A&M in the SEC Tournament feels like longer than ten days ago. He's taking a lot of shots in the tournament and that is going to continue. He's about 3-5 made field goals from putting together a line that can change a DFS lineup. The issue here has been the quality of opponents. Vermont and New Mexico State are nowhere near Gonzaga. Adjust your expectations accordingly. I still see Notae breaking 30 here, which is decent return for the investment.

Kyler Edwards, Houston ($7,400)

Edwards us a good scorer and contributes numbers everywhere except for blocks. He has 40 points (including ten made threes), 13 rebounds, seven assists, three steals, and a block in the first two games of the Tournament. Houston proved they can handle bigger teams against Illinois and Edwards was called upon to do a little bit of everything. Arizona is similar to Illinois, but they move at a faster pace. That can only help Houston, who would rather run a track meet than run a half-court set. This favors Edwards and his sharpshooting ways.

Eli Brooks, Michigan ($6,400)

Devante Jones was back for Michigan in the second round game, but it was still Brooks who put up the huge numbers running this offense. Brooks piled up 73.5 DraftKings points in the first two games. He's going to have a hard time reaching that average thanks to the tough perimeter defense of Villanova, but I think I trust Brooks more than any of his teammates after the first weekend. Brooks was electric in the upset of Tennessee.

Dalen Terry, Arizona ($5,800)

There's no other way to say this: Terry is underpriced. He has at least 27 DraftKings points in four straight games, possibly the four biggest games of Arizona's season. The best part is that Terry only scored five actual points in 42 minutes against TCU, but he put up 28 DraftKings points. If that's what the floor looks like when his shot isn't falling, you know the ceiling is high. Much higher than it usually is on a player priced in this range.

Jeremy Roach, Duke ($5,000)

The Blue Devils put Roach back in the starting five for the first time since February 12 in round 1 of Coach K's final dance. He responded with 47.75 DraftKings points in the first two rounds. Roach's experience has come in very handy for a Duke team that looks prepared to make a deep run. It's going to be a battle against Texas Tech, but Roach's distribution skills will be what puts Duke over the top if they win. I like the floor for Roach here.

Also consider: Andrew Nembhard, Gonzaga ($7,600); Bennedict Mathurin, Arizona ($7,500); Taze Moore, Houston ($6,700); Adonis Arms, Texas Tech ($5,900); Caleb Daniels, Villanova ($5,600); Kevin McCullar, Texas Tech ($5,400); Pelle Larson, Arizona ($5,100); Au'Diese Toney, Arkansas ($4,400)

DraftKings DFS Forwards - NCAA Tournament

Hunter Dickinson, Michigan ($8,100)

Dickinson is playing as well as any big in the tournament. Remember how Oscar Tshiebwe had his hands full against that Tennessee defense? Dickinson abused them for 52.75 DraftKings points. I'm not saying that Dickinson is better than Tshiebwe, but he is a better passer and often more of an offensive threat. Villanova has had their issues defending big men, especially athletic ones. Dickinson's ceiling is as high as anyone on this slate.

Drew Timme, Gonzaga ($8,000)

Holmgren gets most of the attention, but Timme has been unstoppable in the tournament so far. He has 104.25 DraftKings points in just 64 minutes of court time. Unlike Holmgren, Timme stays out of foul trouble and relies on his ability to shoot and create his own shot. This is the kind of player needed against Arkansas. Holmgren's size is going to be an issue for the Hogs, but I still think it's Timme that steals the show again here.

Christian Koloko, Arizona ($7,700)

It's a good thing we can save at guards on this slate because there are elite forwards. Like Timme, Koloko is often overshadowed by his more well known teammates. He too has more than 100 DraftKings points (107.25) in the NCAA Tournament already. Houston is another team that will put up points like Wright State and TCU did. I love this matchup for both teams for DFS purposes. Not to the point that I would run a game stack, but I feel like you need at least one piece from both sides. Koloko is my favorite on either team.

Moussa Diabate, Michigan ($5,700)

The Michigan frontcourt is looking really good right now. They held decided advantages against Colorado State and, to some extent, Tennessee up front. Villanova is an undersized team. I keep thinking back to the games Villanova played against Creighton and Marquette this year – teams that run with more than one big man on the court at a time. The Wildcats struggled in those games. Diabate and Dickinson could be a similar handful for Nova in the Sweet Sixteen.

J'Wan Roberts, Houston ($3,700)

I feel like the Cougars are going to need all of the size they can get tonight. Roberts has six straight games of double-digit DraftKings points. He likely wont hurt our lineups much, but there is no upside unless Houston lands in some serious foul trouble in this game. The good news is that Roberts still hit double digits in the win over Illinois despite not scoring a point.

Also consider: Chet Holmgren, Gonzaga ($8,700); Paolo Banchero, Duke ($8,300); Jaylin Williams, Arkansas ($7,000); Fabian White, Houston ($6,200); Kevin Obanor, Texas Tech ($5,600); Eric Dixon, Villanova ($5,300): Oumar Ballo, Arizona ($4,200)
