After trying to trade him, the Chicago Bears are releasing nose tackle Eddie Goldman on Friday, according to a source. Goldman is only 28 years old and will have a nice market in free agency. He was originally a second-round pick by the Bears in the 2015 draft out of Florida State. Goldman managed 22 tackles (14 solo) and half a sack in 14 games (10 starts) in his final season in Chicago in 2021. In his six NFL seasons, Goldman has accumulated 175 tackles (116 solo), 18 tackles for loss, 21 QB hits, two fumble recoveries and 13 sacks in 81 games (73 starts) for Chicago. He should not be a target in IDP leagues in 2022, regardless of where he signs.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
