Welcome to the Tuesday, August 6th edition of Daily Slivers of the Fantasy Soapbox.
Discussing baseball is as fun as the game itself. It has a way of bringing people together to share different opinions about the sport we all love. A similar action can be done with fantasy baseball where we not only discuss topics but also look to improve our teams as well as the teams of our fellow fantasy baseball enthusiasts. Everyone has their own perspectives which are not to be cast off as frivolous. They should be used as a method of expanding our own knowledge.
In this article, I review the previous day's boxscores and provide my opinion on a variety of topics. Some will be random, some will be fun, and some will be stat-driven. It's a soapbox so I may rant from time to time as well. So without any further delay, below are my thoughts on August 6th. Enjoy them. - Ditto for Michael Conforto. 6HR, 13RBI, .298AVG last 15 days. Looking for a strong finish to the year. 83% owned.

- Seth Lugo(2SV), you look like a closer. Doesn't seem like anyone is in your way.
- Christian Yelich must be claustrophobic. Mashes two taters(39) to get more breathing room.
- THUNDER!!! Mike Moustakas scorches a 459ft fireball(27) into the stands. 111mph exit velo. HOT DAMN!
- Trent Grisham w/three RBI, .333AVG. Loves him some righties.

- Rafael Devers gets 23rd HR. Leads team w/87RBI. Bring back the steals.

- Mike Trout's quickness(nine SB) keeps his target within site while enjoying his combo meal...37th crowd-pleaser. A 442ft gentle kiss into the wind.
- "Is Charlie Morton supposed to be good?" ~ Bo Bichette struts stuff around bases for the third time of his career. You a bad man, Bo.
- Lucas Giolito joins 12-Win club. There goes the neighborhood.
- Mike Minor silences rejuvenated CLE lineup. 10W.
- Nicholas Castellanos hits first HR as a Cub(12). Marcus Semien abruptly sends two missiles(19) into orbit. Javier Baez counters w/two moon-dogs(28) of his own.
- Give Max some headroom. Max Kepler keeps throwing elbows (31st HR).
- Someone pinch me. Miguel Sano hitting .241 w/19HR?
- Oooh-La-La. Vince Velasquez gets fourth win. 7IP, 2ER, 3K. It's all about matchups & timing.
