The NFL season is less than 100 days away, which still feels like an eternity for fantasy football fans. However, dynasty fantasy football never sleeps and is in the thick of its offseason. With the NFL Draft behind us, dynasty players can fill out their rosters with NFL rookies and develop excitement for the coming season.

Dynasty sleepers often come in the form of young players who are either entering great situations, their prime, or both. With dynasty rosters being so extensive, dynasty managers can harbor a handful of players who fit the mold of a potential sleeper/breakout. It is always exciting when an unexpected dynasty asset hits in a big way. They can change the fortune of a dynasty roster for years to come.

Managers who rostered players such as Puka Nacua or Patrick Mahomes back in the day are likely feeling pretty good about themselves right now. These are the types of players who unexpectedly take the league by storm and anchor dynasty rosters for several championship runs. With the dynasty offseason in full swing, let's take a look at the players to watch in 2025. Check your waiver wire and see if these guys are available. RJ Harvey, RB, Denver Broncos

RJ Harvey was viewed by many as a reach in the NFL Draft when the Broncos selected him in the second round. Harvey is an older running back prospect who realistically could have been selected on Day 3. However, the Broncos identified Harvey as an important asset and made sure that he did not slip away from them in the draft.

Harvey's draft capital also coincides with head coach Sean Payton's ability to identify and cultivate running back talent. Players such as Alvin Kamara, Mark Ingram II, Pierre Thomas, and Reggie Bush have all thrived in Payton's systems. These players were drafted in a variety of rounds, or undrafted in Thomas' case.

Given Payton's obvious interest in Harvey, Harvey is likely to be a huge piece of the Broncos offense in Year 1. There is not much competition for carries, especially with the departure of Javonte Williams. As such, Harvey has a chance to be an RB2 in fantasy this season.

Look for Harvey to receive plenty of catches and plenty of carries in an ascending offense. If he demonstrates his chops as a rookie, the next several seasons could be fantasy gold.

Bhayshul Tuten, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars

Bhayshul Tuten is an intriguing prospect. If the 2025 running back draft class were not so deep, he might have been a Day 2 selection. Instead, he slipped to the fourth round and landed in a crowded backfield. For now, Tuten may be a depth piece, but there is an opportunity to make a name for himself in this backfield.

Travis Etienne Jr. and Tank Bigsby figure to be the 1A and 1B options in this offense, respectively. However, neither player played exceptionally well last season. With a new regime on its way into town, it seems as though Tuten has a chance to make his mark as this regime's selection at running back.

Leading up to the draft, there was potential for Jacksonville to select running back Ashton Jeanty in the top five. When it made the trade for dual-threat Travis Hunter, it sacrificed a lot of draft capital and took itself out of the running for a running back on the first two days. However, it was clear that it wanted to address the position.

Tuten's selection suggests that Jacksonville could be preparing for the departure of Etienne this coming offseason. While Tuten may not have a prolific rookie season, there is a path to success in the future given his talent and athleticism. Any poor play from Etienne or Bigsby in 2025 could also vault Tuten up the depth chart. He is a name to keep an eye on.

Jordan Mason, RB, Minnesota Vikings

Jordan Mason looked as though he would be stuck behind Christian McCaffrey in San Francisco until a post-free agency trade occurred that shipped him to Minnesota. The fourth-year back will run second to incumbent starter Aaron Jones, but this may end up being more of a split than people realize.

Mason showcased his talent in McCaffrey's stead in 2024. Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell cannot just ignore the tape Mason put on the field. He has a similar playing style to Jones and will complement him well in both the running and passing games. Mason also boasts a career average of 5.2 yards per carry, and that should remain constant in 2025 behind a solid Vikings offensive line.

Mason should be in the flex consideration with upside for more in 2025. Additionally, should Jones miss any time, Mason would vault into the RB1 conversation. The guy is simply that good and could be a very valuable dynasty asset for years to come. The Vikings felt like he was their guy and demonstrated that by trading for him.

Jalen Milroe, QB, Seattle Seahawks

Jalen Milroe will not be a Day 1 starter in Seattle, but he has a chance to emerge as an excellent player in the future. He will need a few things to break correctly for him, but Milroe possesses the talent and athletic profile to succeed at a high level in the NFL.

Milroe is a borderline Lamar Jackson-level athlete. His speed and escape ability were not rivaled in college football over the last two seasons. His knock coming into the NFL was his lack of consistency as a pocket passer. However, we have witnessed plenty of running quarterbacks, including Jackson and Jalen Hurts, develop into excellent passers in recent seasons.

Milroe is likely going to be third on the depth chart behind starter Sam Darnold and backup Drew Lock. Darnold is essentially on a one-year prove-it deal based on the structure of his contract. His lack of year-over-year consistency in the NFL suggests that failure is within the realm of possibility this season.

The Seahawks liked Milroe enough to take a shot on him in Round 3, and we all know how their last third-round quarterback (Russell Wilson) turned out.

Anyone who rosters Milroe will be playing a waiting game. If he hits, he will be an excellent fantasy football asset for years to come.

Terrance Ferguson, TE, Los Angeles Rams

Tight end is a notoriously difficult position for rookies to transition into in the NFL, but it has become more common for rookies at the position to succeed in recent years.

Terrance Ferguson was identified by the Rams as a Round 2 selection in the 2025 NFL Draft. Sean McVay has a knack for finding talent, and this selection should be no different. The Rams have Tyler Higbee in place ahead of Ferguson, but Ferguson's youth and solid athletic profile give him a chance to succeed sooner rather than later.

It was no more than two seasons ago when another second-round tight end in Sam LaPorta unexpectedly took the league by storm. With Matthew Stafford slinging the rock, Ferguson has a legitimate chance at racking up several touchdowns this season. Additionally, Ferguson is considered to be the future at the position for the Rams. He could become a target hog alongside Puka Nacua.

Ferguson will certainly be worth a selection in rookie drafts. He should have at least a few useful games as a rookie, with upside for stardom.
