Daily Fantasy Football Picks and Advice - DraftKings Lineups and Sleepers: Week 16 NFL DFS

Welcome to the Week 16 edition of Daily Fantasy Football DraftKings targets. An introduction is not really all that necessary, as the title of this DFS article pretty much sums up what is going to be discussed.

It's important to identify players with good matchups, but we also want to look at their DraftKings prices so we can hopefully find low-cost/high-production players for your lineups.

I will be providing one top DFS play and one DFS value play at each position for Week 16 NFL DraftKings action. Let's get down to it.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

DraftKings DFS Quarterbacks for Week 16

Blake Bortles (at NO, $6,500)

Blake Bortles has been playing extremely well of recent, and that makes sense since young quarterbacks tend to play better at the end of the season. Bortles is definitely having a breakout season, as he should surpass the 4,000 yard threshold this week against the New Orleans Saints, and he also has a solid 31 touchdowns. In his last four games, he has over 25 fantasy points in all of them. The Saints are one of the worst teams in the league against the passing attack, and Bortles is most likely going to tear them apart. Both the Saints and the Jaguars are terrible, which means that this game should stay close. When two terrible teams face off against one another, it generally turns into a shootout. With over 300 yards and two touchdowns in two of his last four games, Bortles is one of the best options on the board this week at only $6,500.

Matt Flynn (vs JAX, $5,000)

This play is completely contingent on the injury status of Drew Brees. Last week, against the Detroit Lions, Brees suffered an injury to his right foot. He taped up his foot and returned to the game, but it turns out the he has a torn plantar fascia. Currently, Brees is being considered day-to-day. After another opinion from another doctor, Brees' season will either end or continue. If it ends, Matt Flynn will step in as the starting quarterback for the New Orleans Saints. Flynn recently beat out rookie Garrett Grayson in practice, and he is as cheap as it gets this week at only $5,000. The Jaguars are terrible against the pass attack, as are the Saints, and Flynn is going to be in the middle of this terrible shootout. Flynn has shown flashes throughout his career, and it would not surprise me if he excelled this week against the Jaguars. Again, this is only if Drew Brees can not suit up, obviously.

DraftKings DFS Running Backs for Week 16

Adrian Peterson (vs NYG, $7,300)

It has been far too long since Adrian Peterson ran for over 100 yards and two touchdowns. In fact, it has been exactly four games now. Against the Atlanta Falcons, Peterson touched the ball 31 times for over 180 total yards and two touchdowns. The New York Giants are terrible against the rush, and the Minnesota Vikings should have learned by now that they need to feed Adrian Peterson the ball to win games. They are in the playoff running, and they'll want to do everything they can to win this easy matchup this week. Peterson is going to touch the ball early and often, and the Giants are not going to be able to stop him. DraftKings never allows Peterson's price to get too low, but he definitely is worth the price tag this week.

Karlos Williams (vs DAL, $4,500)

Karlos Williams gets a great matchup this week against the Dallas Cowboys. LeSean McCoy tore his MCL on Sunday against the Washington Redskins, and he is doubtful to play this week. He will find his way into the Buffalo Bills lineup about the same time that hell freezes over. That said, Karlos Williams will likely take over as the starting running back this week against the Dallas Cowboys. He is returning from an injury of his own, and it is predicted that Mike Gillislee will also find the ball in his chest a couple of times, but I'm willing to bet that Williams is the better play. Against the Redskins, on four carries, Williams ran for 41 yards or 10.3 yards per carry. He should be able to shred the Cowboys' soft defense as well. The last two times that Williams touched the ball more than 10 times, he scored 16 and 20 fantasy points. He should see similar or better results this week.

DraftKings DFS Wide Receivers for Week 16

Antonio Brown (at BAL, $9,300)

Antonio Brown, while Ben Roethlisberger is healthy, is the Stephen Curry of the football world. Brown's price tag is a little bit ridiculous at $9,300, but last week against the Denver Broncos, he caught 16 balls for almost 200 yards and two touchdowns. In other words, he scored almost 50 fantasy points against the best pass defense in the entire league. So, yeah, his price tag is that high for a reason. This week, he gets a great matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, who are one of the worst teams in the league against opposing wide receivers. In 14 games, Brown has 116 receptions, 1,586 yards, and 9 touchdowns. Use him in any format this week.

Kamar Aiken (vs PIT, $5,400)

Speaking of the Baltimore Ravens, Kamar Aiken is facing off against the Pittsburgh Steelers this week. The Steelers are ranked worst in the league against opposing wide receivers right now, and Aiken has been extremely solid and consistent of recent. In his last four games, he has over 10 fantasy points in all of them. More importantly, he has over 20 fantasy points in two of his last four games. Agains the Kansas City Chiefs, Aiken caught 8 balls for over 100 yards and a touchdown. He is a big part of the Baltimore Ravens pass attack, and he should be targeted in the double digits this week. At nearly half the cost of Antonio Brown, he is well worth a look in both 50/50 contests and tournaments. The Steelers and Ravens always put up a solid battle against each other, but this year the battle part will come in the form of scoring and not defense. This will likely be a shootout, so take advantage of players from the game this week.

DraftKings DFS Tight Ends for Week 16

Greg Olsen (at ATL, $7,000)

This week, I'll take Greg Olsen over Rob Gronkowski. Gronkowski is almost guaranteed to find the end zone, but Olsen has more upside against the Atlanta Falcons. The New York Jets are one of the best teams in the league against opposing tight ends, and they'll be focusing primarily on shutting down Gronkowski, as he is Tom Brady's only reliable option. Olsen may be Cam Newton's only reliable option, but the Atlanta Falcons will likely not be able to cover him regardless. In his last game against the Falcons, Olsen did not look all that impressive with only three catches for 52 yards, but he should be able to outperform that this week. In his last two out of four games, Olsen is averaging over 20 fantasy points per game. Save a little bit of money and pass on "The Gronk" in favor of Olsen this week.

Darren Fells (vs GB, $2,500)

Darren Fells is definitely a tournament only option this week against the Green Bay Packers. The Packers are terrible against the tight end position, but Fells never really gets all that involved in the Arizona Cardinals' offense. In his last two games, he has six receptions for almost 100 yards. He is starting to get more involved, but Jermaine Gresham is starting to earn more snaps. Fells is still playing a majority of the time, but that could change this week. If Fells sees the field enough, he could hit value with such a low price tag, but he is an extremely risky play. This recommendation is not for the faint of heart. It is always a killer to see a goose egg out of one of your players, and that could happen with Fells.
