Jordan Mason, RB, Vikings

Minnesota Vikings running back Jordan Mason had only four carries for three yards and one catch for three yards in Thursday night's blowout loss to the Chargers. Mason was outcarried by Aaron Jones Sr. as he made his return off injured reserve from a hamstring injury. Jones wasn't overly efficient on his touches either, handling five carries for 15 yards and adding two catches for 15 yards.
It was a good matchup on paper coming into the game for the Vikings' ground game with the Chargers being ranked 28th in yards per carry and 31st in rushing touchdowns allowed, but Minnesota averaged just 3.1 yards per carry in the game. Mason and Jones will likely see a pretty even split moving forward, with Jones handling most of the pass-down duties.
They will head on the road again in Week 9 for another tough matchup in Detroit.
Verdict: Sell for a similarly priced RB2. Mason will see his upside drop with Jones back in action
Terry McLaurin, WR, Commanders

Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) is "good to go" and will play in his team's Week 8 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. McLaurin has missed each of his team's last four games due to a quad injury. In three games before getting injured, the 30-year-old recorded 10 catches for 149 yards on 17 targets.
Given his long layoff, Washington may choose to limit his snaps in Week 8 and re-integrate him into the offense slowly. Additionally, McLaurin will be playing with backup quarterback Marcus Mariota, who is filling in for the injured Jayden Daniels (hamstring). Both of those factors should lead fantasy managers to temper expectations for McLaurin.
Still, he profiles as a low-end WR3/flex option in Week 8 against Kansas City.
Verdict: Sneaky buy candidate. His price is still attainable, as his QB Jayden Daniels is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury
Drake London, WR, Falcons
Trade Value: 75.4

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London (hip) is inactive for Sunday's contest against the Miami Dolphins due to a hip injury. London was able to practice in full on Wednesday and Thursday, but was downgraded to limited participation on Friday. On Saturday, the team officially listed him as questionable, but he was unable to progress enough to suit up.
Managers should monitor his status leading up to their next game against the New England Patriots in Week 9. With London sitting out, managers should expect Darnell Mooney and Kyle Pitts Sr. to see the majority of the targets in the passing game. Quarterback Kirk Cousins will also see his upside limited without his top pass catcher this afternoon. Mooney projects to carry high-end WR3 upside operating as the clear WR1 in this offense.
Verdict: Top buy candidate given his injury and Atlanta's current offensive struggles
Rashee Rice, WR, Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice will take on the Washington Commanders in Week 8. Rice returned from suspension in Week 7 and immediately stepped back into the WR1 role for Kansas City. The 25-year-old caught seven passes for 42 yards and two touchdowns in the dominating 31-0 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders last week.
All that production came on nearly 40% of the offensive snaps as the Chiefs eased him back into action, and the game was not competitive down the stretch. Rice came out of last week's matchup feeling good, and the Chiefs should continue ramping him up each week. Rice should have no issues producing this week against the Commanders, who have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season.
Rice is ranked WR4 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, making him a high-end WR1 option on Monday night.
Verdict: Buy-high if you can. Rice has legit WR1 upside for the remainder of the campaign
