Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting for Week 11 MNF:
Ashton Jeanty, RB, Las Vegas Raiders
The sixth overall pick in this past year's draft has turned heavy volume into solid fantasy production, ranking as RB16 in PPR points per game (14.6) among running backs with at least four games played, with his 166 total touches ranking 11th most in the league. Jeanty's floor for fantasy points has been raised lately with more involvement as a pass catcher, catching 16 of his 22 targets for 116 yards and a touchdown in his past five games.
The rookie back gets a beautiful matchup in Week 11 on Monday Night Football against a Dallas Cowboys defense that has allowed the fourth most PPR points per game to opposing running backs.
Javonte Williams, RB, Dallas Cowboys
He was held in check in his last game against the Cardinals in Week 9, but he remains one of the most consistent options at the position. This week, Williams and the Cowboys face the Las Vegas Raiders, a defense that has been fairly mediocre against the run. The Raiders are allowing around 106 rushing yards per game and have given up 12 rushing touchdowns on the year.
This sets up a strong opportunity for Williams and the Dallas offense to get back on track against a lackluster Raiders unit. RotoBaller currently has Williams ranked as the RB5 for Week 11.
Geno Smith, QB, Las Vegas Raiders
The 35-year-old came out of the game briefly for Kenny Pickett due to a bruised quadriceps injury, but was able to return and finish the game. Smith had the mini-bye after playing on Thursday night to rest the injury and heads into Monday night without an injury designation.
The veteran hasn't been a playable fantasy option in most leagues in his first year in Las Vegas, but he has appeal as a QB2 streamer against a poor Dallas Cowboys defense that has allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks on Monday night. Smith ranks as RotoBaller's QB18 for Week 11.
Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys
This week sets up nicely for a rebound. Dallas plays the Las Vegas Raiders, a defense that gives up 214 passing yards per game and struggles to consistently pressure quarterbacks, ranking in the bottom 10 in sacks. Opposing passers have regularly outperformed expectations against this unit, which should give Prescott cleaner pockets and more chances to push the ball downfield. Coming out of the bye, the Cowboys' offense should reset and get back to its usual rhythm.
Add in one of the highest implied totals of the week at 49.5, and Prescott is positioned for a strong fantasy outing with plenty of scoring opportunities on the table. He remains a confident QB1 play and is RotoBaller's 4th-ranked quarterback for Week 11.
Brock Bowers, TE, Las Vegas Raiders
The superstar tight end should be expected to bounce back with a great matchup on deck in Week 11 against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. Offensive coordinator Chip Kelly took the blame for not getting Bowers more targets in their Week 10 loss, saying, "We have to get him more involved."
Fantasy managers should expect Brock Bowers to be the focal point of the Raiders' game plan and go off in a matchup with the highest total of the week.
Tyler Lockett, WR, Las Vegas Raiders
In a pristine matchup, Lockett will be looking to stay heavily involved in the passing attack after catching five of his six targets for a season-high 44 yards in the Week 10 loss to the Denver Broncos. The 33-year-old had only 10 catches for 70 scoreless yards in seven games with the Titans before joining the Raiders and reuniting with quarterback Geno Smith. Lockett and Smith have clear chemistry from their days in Seattle.
With that said, Lockett might still be the No. 3 target for Smith behind Tre Tucker and Brock Bowers. Lockett's upside isn't what it used to be, but his chemistry with Smith shouldn't be ignored, and he's facing the worst defense against WRs this week in Dallas. In deeper fantasy leagues, Lockett is in play as a WR4/5 this week.
