Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 11:
Jameis Winston, QB, Giants
New York Giants quarterback Jameis Winston is set to make his season debut in Week 11 against the Green Bay Packers. After spending most of the season as the team's QB3, Winston gets the nod with rookie Jaxson Dart in concussion protocol and Russell Wilson demoted.
In seven starts last season with the Cleveland Browns, the former first-overall pick averaged 291 passing yards with 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He'll face a tough challenge against a Packers defense that has allowed the eighth-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this year. As always, Winston brings plenty of volatility, making him a classic high-risk, high-reward option for Week 11.
Davis Mills, QB, Texans
Houston Texans quarterback Davis Mills is likely to start again as C.J. Stroud (concussion) remains out of practice in concussion protocol. Mills was dynamic in the win over the Jaguars last week, completing 60% of his passes for 292 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception. Mills leaned heavily on Nico Collins (15 targets) and Dalton Schultz (11 targets) in the passing game. Head coach DeMeco Ryans clearly trusts Mills to make plays, which has been rewarded early. For teams in need of bye week help, Mills is an excellent option on the waiver wire heading into Week 11.
Michael Penix Jr., QB, Falcons
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr.'s accuracy went kaput in Germany, completing just 12 of his 28 pass attempts for 177 yards in Sunday's 31-25 overtime loss to the Colts, which included one touchdown pass and no interceptions. However, he also lost a fumble and was sacked three times. The 25-year-old came into the contest with a 60.8 percent completion percentage. But after this performance, it now stands at 58.8 percent.
That is the third-lowest in the league, only slightly better than Tennessee's Cam Ward, whose league-low rate stands at 57.6 percent. Although the second-year QB owns a sterling 8:1 TD:INT over his last five games, the left-hander is hard to trust for fantasy with such low completion rates and near-zero value added with his legs. Atlanta has lost four straight, but has winnable matchups coming up (vs. CAR, @ NOR, @NYJ). Kirk Cousins didn't make the case for a quarterback change in his lone start in Week 8 against the Dolphins, but if the Falcons continue this losing streak against those teams, Penix may find himself on the hot seat.
Marcus Mariota, QB, Commanders
Washington Commanders veteran quarterback Marcus Mariota matched his season high with 213 passing yards on 16-for-22 passing with two touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 44-22 blowout loss to the visiting Detroit Lions in Week 10. Mariota also carried the ball five times for 22 rushing yards and was sacked twice for a loss of 18 yards. The 32-year-old's numbers don't really jump off the page, but all in all, it wasn't a bad performance in his fourth start of the year.
It's unclear exactly how long Jayden Daniels (elbow) will be out following a gruesome dislocated left elbow in Week 9, but Mariota should see at least a few more starts, including a plus matchup in Week 11 against the Miami Dolphins. He has completed 65.5% of his 110 pass attempts for 852 yards, six touchdowns, and four interceptions in his six games played (four starts) in 2025. Mariota should continue to be a low-upside QB2 streamer in superflex leagues for however long Daniels remains sidelined.
