Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 10:
Rome Odunze, WR, Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze (ankle/heel) practiced in a limited capacity on Thursday after being held out on Wednesday, per The Athletic's Kevin Fishbain. Odunze followed a similar practice pattern last week and was able to play in Week 9, so he appears to be trending toward playing in Week 10 against the New York Giants.
The 23-year-old is coming off his worst game of the season against the Cincinnati Bengals, as he was held without a reception on three targets. Odunze has been much better for the season overall, recording 31 catches for 473 yards and five touchdowns on 59 targets across eight games.
Assuming he's cleared to play, Rome Odunze profiles as a must-start fantasy wide receiver in Week 10 against the Giants.
Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) was not seen at the portion of practice open to the media on Thursday, according to Demetrius Harvey of Jaguars.com. If Thomas does not make it onto the field, it will be his second straight missed practice of the week after he picked up a low-grade high-ankle sprain in the Week 9 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Jaguars said earlier this week that they felt the 23-year-old second-year pass catcher had a good chance to suit up this Sunday against the division-rival Houston Texans, but two straight DNPs suggest otherwise.
The Jags also put first-rounder Travis Hunter (knee) on Injured Reserve, so they could be down to Parker Washington, Dyami Brown (concussion), and the newly acquired Jakobi Meyers at WR this weekend against a strong Texans defense. Thomas' Friday status will go a long way in determining whether he's active in Week 10.
Jaylen Waddle, WR, Miami Dolphins
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle has enjoyed a fantastic bounce-back season in 2025, leading the team with 41 catches for 586 yards and four touchdowns in nine games.
Waddle had been in plenty of trade rumors with the current state of the Dolphins, but the team is committed to their 26-year-old star wideout and views him as a piece of their future.
Waddle has emerged as the no-doubt WR1 after Tyreek Hill (knee) went down in Week 3, and has been among the most productive wideouts in the league. Waddle ranks as WR13 in PPR points since Week 4, and he should continue to return borderline WR1 fantasy production as one of the most explosive players in the league and the focal point of head coach Mike McDaniel's passing attack.
Josh Jacobs, RB, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has been playing through a calf injury in recent weeks, but he looked fully healthy in the Week 9 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday at Lambeau Field. Jacobs led the backfield with 17 carries for 87 yards (5.1 yards per tote) and a touchdown, scoring for the fifth straight week and for the 10th time on the ground in eight games.
Green Bay's loss to the Cleveland Browns back on Sept. 21 was the only time in 2025 so far in which Jacobs has not scored a rushing TD. In the last five games, the veteran back has 354 rushing yards and nine rushing scores. He also caught four of his five targets in the passing game for 13 yards in Sunday's 16-13 loss to Carolina. Jacobs has gone over 100 scrimmage yards in three straight games.
Despite a tough upcoming matchup in Week 10 against the Philadelphia Eagles, Jacobs will remain a must-start RB in fantasy football.
James Cook, RB, Buffalo Bills
