Who Is Favored To Win the Super Bowl? Betting Lines, Odds For Super Bowl LVIII

Lamar Jackson - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Who is favored to win Super Bowl LVIII? Jackson previews the betting odds for the upcoming Super Bowl. A look at the odds for the 49ers, Chiefs, Rams, Lions, Bills, and more.

The 2023-24 NFL postseason begins on Saturday, and 14 teams have a shot at bringing home the Lombardi Trophy in February. As we know, not all playoff teams are created equal, and there are often massive disparities in betting odds between Super Bowl long shots and Super Bowl favorites.

Below, we'll dive into the lines and odds for each of the 14 playoff teams, break down their record, win or loss streak, and advanced stats, and hint at which team could be undervalued heading into Wild Card Weekend.

The odds listed in this article are via DraftKings Sportsbook on January 9, 2024. Let's get into it!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Top Contenders - Favorites

1. San Francisco 49ers (+220)

Regular Season Record: 12-5
Win/Loss Streak:
L1
Off DVOA Rank:
1st
DEF DVOA Rank:
4th

The 49ers have been considered the best team in the NFL for much of the season, so by no surprise, they open the postseason as the favorite to win it all.

2. Baltimore Ravens (+310)

Regular Season Record: 13-4
Win/Loss Streak:
L1
Off DVOA Rank:
4th
DEF DVOA Rank:
1st

Baltimore has been spectacular in the second half of the season, particularly on defense. However, the offense is still somehow underrated, and there's a chance Mark Andrews could return if the Ravens make a deep run.

Tier 2 Contenders - Next In Line

3. Buffalo Bills (+650)

Regular Season Record: 11-6
Win/Loss Streak:
W5
Off DVOA Rank:
3rd
DEF DVOA Rank:
12th

Buffalo is arguably the hottest team in the NFL. Josh Allen is doing Josh Allen things, and Sean McDermott has the Bills' defense playing lights out as of late. Buffalo has struggled in the postseason lately due to a lack of secondary pass-catching options, so Dalton Kincaid could be an X-factor this year. Time will tell.

4. Dallas Cowboys (+750)

Regular Season Record: 12-5
Win/Loss Streak:
W2
Off DVOA Rank:
9th
DEF DVOA Rank:
5th

When Dallas is at home, they look unbeatable. In fact, they haven't lost in Jerry World this year, and they'll get to host playoff games in the Wild Card and Divisional Round.

5. Kansas City Chiefs (+1000)

Regular Season Record: 11-6
Win/Loss Streak:
W2
Off DVOA Rank:
8th
DEF DVOA Rank:
7th

The Chiefs are having a "down year" at 11-6 and winners of the AFC West. Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid are still calling the shots, so +1000 presents great value.

Tier 3 Contenders - Could Make A Run

T-6. Philadelphia Eagles (+1800)

Regular Season Record: 11-6
Win/Loss Streak:
L2
Off DVOA Rank:
10th
DEF DVOA Rank:
29th

At one point, it looked like the 49ers and Eagles would surely square off the NFC Championship game. However, Philadelphia has lost five of the last six games. Stumbling into the postseason is never good, but a winnable matchup in Tampa Bay this weekend could turn things around.

T-6. Miami Dolphins (+1800)

Regular Season Record: 11-6
Win/Loss Streak:
L2
Off DVOA Rank:
2nd
DEF DVOA Rank:
19th

The Dolphins have been the most exciting team to watch this season, but Miami is 1-5 against playoff teams and has scored an average of 17.7 points in those contests. Needless to say, a trip to Arrowhead Stadium in round one is concerning.

T-6 Detroit Lions (+1800)

Regular Season Record: 12-5
Win/Loss Streak:
W1
Off DVOA Rank:
5th
DEF DVOA Rank:
13th

The Lions had a spectacular season and will host a playoff game for the first time since 1991. Their opponent? Former Lions franchise QB Matthew Stafford. This will be fun.

Tier 4 Contenders - Need Everything To Go Right

9. Cleveland Browns (+3000)

Regular Season Record: 11-6
Win/Loss Streak:
L1
Off DVOA Rank:
28th
DEF DVOA Rank:
2nd

Cleveland's suffocating defense has gotten them this far. Does Joe Flacco have one more magical run in him? With a win on Saturday, Flacco will break the record for the most playoff wins on the road. Defense travels and Flacco is battle-tested, so Cleveland could be a Darkhorse pick to win it all.

10. Los Angeles Rams (+4000)

Regular Season Record: 10-7
Win/Loss Streak:
W4
Off DVOA Rank:
7th
DEF DVOA Rank:
22nd

The Rams have rebounded from a disastrous 2022 season. Sean McVay has led the team to seven wins in the last eight games. The last loss -- to Baltimore -- on the road -- in overtime. They've been that good.

11. Houston Texans (+5000)

Regular Season Record: 10-7
Win/Loss Streak:
W2
Off DVOA Rank:
14th
DEF DVOA Rank: 16th

C.J. Stroud is the runaway favorite to win Offensive Rookie of the Year, and DeMeco Ryans could win Coach of the Year. The rookie duo has the Texans as the most surprising division winner in 2023, but it'll be a tough road ahead with a struggling secondary and inexperienced QB.

Tier 5 Contenders - Need A Miracle

12. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+6000)

Regular Season Record: 9-8
Win/Loss Streak:
W1
Off DVOA Rank:
20th
DEF DVOA Rank:
14th

Tampa Bay doesn't do anything particularly well, but they don't have a ton of glaring weaknesses, either. Unfortunately, Baker Mayfield is banged up, and they need him to play his best to have a shot at escaping Wild Card Weekend with a "W".

13. Green Bay Packers (+9000)

Regular Season Record: 9-8
Win/Loss Streak:
W3
Off DVOA Rank:
6th
DEF DVOA Rank:
27th

Jordan Love has exceeded expectations with over 30 passing touchdowns in his first full season as a starter. He brought the Packers to the playoffs, which is something Aaron Rodgers failed to do last year. However, Green Bay's defense will be a major issue against Dallas on Sunday.

14. Pittsburgh Steelers (+12000)

Regular Season Record: 10-7
Win/Loss Streak:
W3
Off DVOA Rank:
15th
DEF DVOA Rank:
6th

Mike Tomlin has done it again. Bravo. But with Mason Rudolph under center and T.J. Watt ruled out of the game against the Buffalo Bills, this will be a quick exit for the historic franchise.
