Which Team Could Pick Dalton Kincaid In The 2023 NFL Draft?

Dalton Kincaid - CFB DFS Lineup Picks, Daily College Fantasy Football, NFL Draft Rookies

Which team could pick Dalton Kincaid in the 2023 NFL Draft? Which teams need a tight end the most? Read the draft outlook.

The 2023 NFL Draft is still a few months away, but we are already seeing prospects move up and down on draft boards.

One of those players is Dalton Kincaid. The tight end from Utah hasn’t seen enough attention from the public because the focus as been all on the quarterbacks.

However, this year’s tight end class is underrated. While many consider Notre Dame’s Michael Mayer the top tight end in the draft class, Kincaid could be the first one picked in April.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

What Did Dalton Kincaid Do In His College Career?

As a freshman, the tight end had only one reception for 14 yards. However, Kincaid picked up his play as a sophomore. The Utah tight end had 36 receptions for 510 receiving yards and eight touchdowns in 2021. His eight receiving touchdowns were the most on the team.

Last year Kincaid took his game to another level and became of the top tight ends in the country. He had 70 receptions for 890 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, leading the team in every category. Furthermore, his 70 receptions finished fourth in the Pac-12 last season.

More importantly, the star tight end has earned praise from some of the top people in the NFL Draft community. Daniel Jeremiah has Kincaid ninth overall on his latest big board, comparing the tight end to Zach Ertz.

Which Team Could Pick Dalton Kincaid In The 2023 NFL Draft?

While Kincaid and Mayer are two of the tight ends in the draft this year, Georgia’s Darnell Washington is right there with them. All three have a realistic shot of getting picked in the first round.

Where the former Utah star will land is unclear. However, the best landing spot for fantasy players is the New England Patriots.

New England can save up to $21.3 million this offseason by moving on from Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith. When the team signed the two tight ends a few years ago, they had high expectations. However, neither has lived up to their contract. If the Patriots move on from one or both, Kincaid could turn into a go-to weapon for Mac Jones as a rookie.
