Which Team Could Pick Bijan Robinson In The 2023 NFL Draft?

Bijan Robinson - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Rookies, Draft Sleepers

Which Team Could Pick Bijan Robinson In The 2023 NFL Draft? What Round Will Bijan Robinson Get Drafted? Read the 2023 NFL Draft outlook.

The 2022 NFL season is almost over, with only four teams remaining in the playoffs. That means the 28 other teams in the league have turned their focus to the offseason.

While there will be several trades and free agency, the highlight of the offseason is the NFL Draft.

However, one of the top players in the 2023 NFL Draft is Texas running back Bijan Robinson.

What Did Bijan Robinson Do In His College Career?

Robinson was arguably the best running back in college football during his three-year career. As a freshman, the running back had a limited role, totaling only 101 touches. However, he averaged 8.2 yards per rushing attempt.

The following year, the Longhorns hired Steve Sarkisian as their new head coach, and the superstar running back took off. Over his final two years at Texas, Robinson averaged 22.6 touches for 150.7 scrimmage yards per game. Furthermore, he had 20 scrimmage touchdowns in 22 games.

In his final year at Texas, the superstar running back had 1,580 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns. Both ranked in the top six in college football. Furthermore, he led the Big 12 in both categories.

Robinson was one of the most explosive running backs in college football. He could take any rushing attempt and take it to the end zone.

Which Team Could Pick Bijan Robinson In The 2023 NFL Draft?

While the Longhorn superstar is one of the best players in the draft this year, he plays a position that has become less valuable for NFL teams over the past few years.

Robinson will be a first-round pick in April. He has excellent burst and vision. The superstar running back was also arguably the best at breaking tackles in college football last year. Robinson forced 112 missed tackles in 2022. By comparison, no first-round selected running back over the past 10 years has ever forced even 100 missed tackles in a single college season.

While free agency will change things, there are plenty of potential running back needy teams this offseason. Some potential landing spots for Robinson include the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Miami Dolphins. However, at the top of the list is the Eagles.

Miles Sanders is a free agent this offseason, and the team has several more critical free agents to re-sign. If the veteran running back leaves, Robinson would be a massive upgrade. Furthermore, Philadelphia has two first-round picks this year, including the 10th overall selection.
