Updated weekend fantasy football cut list rankings for Week 4 of 2025. The top fantasy football players to drop and cut from rosters including Dylan Sampson, Jake Browning, C.J. Stroud, more.
Welcome back RotoBallers to our weekend Cut List Rankings for fantasy football Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season. With Thursday night Football behind us and injury designations set, it might be time for fantasy managers to make some last-minute moves before the in-game lock on Sunday.
Last weekend, fantasy managers saw several high-end players suffer serious injuries and have either already been ruled out or are in danger of sitting out. As a result, stashing the right player becomes even more important. However, when looking to stash a high-upside pot, an underperforming player must be cut.
So, which injured or disappointing players is it time to get rid of for fantasy football lineups? Read about our top players to cut for Week 4 of the NFL season. Good luck, RotoBallers!

Fantasy Football Drop Candidates
Read the recent news and fantasy outlooks of some of the top cut candidates:
Cooper Kupp, WR, Seattle Seahawks
Week 4 Cut List Rankings: 20
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp is looking like a player who will be difficult to trust in fantasy football this season. Kupp scored 16 fantasy points on nine targets in Week 2, but he has only earned three targets in each of the Seahawks' other two games. Kupp reeled in two receptions for 31 yards in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints despite the Seahawks scoring 44 points.
On Thursday evening, Kupp caught only four passes for a mere 26 yards.
With fellow wide receiver Tory Horton earning a larger role within the offense, Kupp may be up and down this season. He is a great chain-mover and veteran for quarterback Sam Darnold to trust, but his lack of consistent targets through three weeks makes him difficult to project in fantasy. He will always be a threat to earn eight to 10 targets in any given week, but it is clear that he could have a series of dud performances throughout the year as well.
Najee Harris, RB, Los Angeles Chargers
Week 4 Cut List Rankings: 3
The Los Angeles Chargers announced on Wednesday that they placed running back Najee Harris (Achilles) on Injured Reserve, according to Fernando Ramirez of the Sporting Tribune. Harris' season is over after he tore his Achilles in the Week 3 win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday. It's a disappointing end to his first year with the Bolts after signing with them in free agency in the offseason.
The 27-year-old will end his streak of four straight 1,000-yard rushing seasons to begin his career. In his three games this year, Harris carried the ball 15 times for 61 yards and no touchdowns, adding three receptions for 25 yards through the air.
The Chargers will be forced to lean more on rookie first-rounder Omarion Hampton as their lead back going forward, making him a must-start each week. Hassan Haskins will be elevated to the RB2 role, with Kimani Vidal the next man up at No. 2 in the backfield.
Russell Wilson, QB, New York Giants
Week 4 Cut List Rankings: 4
New York Giants veteran quarterback Russell Wilson will not ask to be traded or released after being benched in favor of rookie first-rounder Jaxson Dart going into Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers, according to Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post. It didn't take long for the Giants to move on from Wilson after signing him to a one-year deal in free agency, and head coach Brian Daboll said that Dart is going to be the starter for the rest of the year.
Mr. Unlimited threw for 450 yards and three touchdowns in the Week 2 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, but in his other two starts, he combined for 328 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions. Fantasy managers who picked him up after his big Week 2 performance can obviously send him back to the waiver wire. The 36-year-old won't make another start for the G-Men unless Dart gets injured.
Jaydon Blue, RB, Dallas Cowboys
Week 4 Cut List Rankings: 7
Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer recently praised the work that rookie running back Jaydon Blue has been doing in practice, saying that Blue has "actually put together a couple really good weeks." A fifth-round pick out of Texas, Blue has been inactive for each of the Cowboys' first three games of the season.
He appears to be firmly behind veteran running backs Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders for the time being in Dallas. While it's encouraging to hear Schottenheimer speak positively about Blue, the rookie should remain off the radar of fantasy managers in redraft leagues, at least until he logs an NFL snap.
Dylan Sampson, RB, Cleveland Browns
Week 4 Cut List Rankings: 1
Cleveland Browns running back Dylan Sampson was an afterthought in his team's 13-10 win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 3. Sampson saw just one carry, turning it into a two-yard gain, and was not targeted in the passing attack. The rookie's role has dwindled considerably since Week 1, not surprisingly coinciding with the activation of fellow rookie Quinshon Judkins ahead of last week's game.
Sampson was looking like a solid PPR flex option after a Week 1 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, but he has quickly become a drop candidate in fantasy leagues heading into Week 4's road matchup against the Detroit Lions, as Judkins has taken complete control of the backfield.
