Week 6 Tight End Outlooks For Fantasy Football

Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers - Fantasy Football Outlook

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that tight end Tucker Kraft (groin), who was added to the Week 6 injury report on Thursday with a groin issue, "should be good to go" for Sunday's contest against the Arizona Cardinals.

Apparently, Kraft's injury isn't serious enough to keep him from playing this weekend in a good matchup at Lambeau Field. And with fellow tight end Luke Musgrave (ankle) expected to land on Injured Reserve, Kraft's target share at the position in Green Bay should only increase moving forward. The downside is that both receivers Romeo Doubs (suspension) and Christian Watson (ankle) could return in Week 6, which would inevitably take some valuable targets away.

The 23-year-old Kraft was a popular waiver-wire pickup this week after going for four catches, 88 yards, and two touchdowns in last week's win over the Rams. Kraft is in play as a TE1 this weekend.

- Keith Hernandez, RotoBaller

Zach Ertz, Washington Commanders - Fantasy Football Outlook

Washington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz caught a season-low two passes for 10 yards last weekend but has a great opportunity to bounce back while facing the Baltimore Ravens. Even though Ertz had his worst game on the scoresheet, he saw eight targets.

From Weeks 1 to 4, Ertz averaged four targets in each game with a solid 37.5 yards. With the Commanders lacking a proven No. 2 option in the passing attack, Ertz should continue to remain productive every week. Facing a Ravens defense that has allowed the 26th-most points to opposing tight ends makes Ertz a low-end TE1 with upside.

- Andy Smith, RotoBaller

Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans - Fantasy Football Outlook

Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz is a playable option with a decent matchup in Week 6 against the New England Patriots. The 28-year-old has had a disappointing fantasy season so far, but the silver lining is that his target percentage has gone up three weeks in a row, and he's still an every-down player, averaging nearly 87% of Houston snaps.

Further, Houston's target leader, receiver Nico Collins (hamstring), is now on injured reserve. At this stage, fantasy managers have to be realistic with their expectations for the former Dallas Cowboy: he'll play most of the game and earn a handful of targets on a good offense, but he's dependent on touchdowns for game-changing weeks.
