Top 70 Shortstop (SS) Fantasy Baseball Rankings: Roto Leagues - March Updates

Bo Bichette - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB DFS Picks, Betting Picks

Updated fantasy baseball shortstop (SS) rankings for 2025 roto league drafts, as of March. Read our top 70 tiered SS rankings for fantasy baseball drafts.

We are back with more rankings, freshly updated to help you crush your drafts. Today, we break down the shortstop position with our updated 2025 fantasy baseball shortstop rankings and tiers for roto leagues (5x5 category mixed leagues). Shortstop is loaded with elite talent as two of the top five overall in our MLB team's rankings are shortstops. As usual, the position is filled with depth, and fantasy managers can afford to wait on drafting one if they miss out on the elite options.

Kansas City Royals superstar shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. is the consensus No. 2 pick and is some drafts going first overall. Cincinnati Reds breakout SS Elly De La Cruz is being selected fourth overall in most drafts after hitting 25 home runs and stealing 67 bases over 160 games last season. After a down season, fantasy managers are banking on a bounce-back season for Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette (.225/.277/.322) as his ADP continues to rise this offseason with a hot spring, slashing .351/.375/.595, two home runs, and six RBI over 40 spring training plate appearances. So where do the rest of the shortstops fit into these rankings?

The shortstop rankings below are specifically designed for traditional roto leagues (5x5 categories), put together by MLB team lead Nick Mariano. We also have many other rankings for various league formats, and 17 different rankings types to choose from. Some of the most popular ones are highlighted below.
