Week 16 Superflex Rankings for Fantasy Football: Nick Mullens, Trevor Siemian, Geno Smith, Ryan Tannehill, Antonio Gibson, Josh Downs

Ryan Tannehill - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Week 16 fantasy football superflex rankings (2QB). Set winning lineups with our Week 16 superflex rankings for two-QB leagues.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! The fantasy semi-finals are officially here. Injuries continue to change the quarterback landscape. Houston Texans rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Browns. Case Keenum will draw his second straight start for Stroud. Zach Wilson (concussion) was also ruled out for Week 16. Trevor Siemian will draw the start in a plus matchup against the Commanders in Wilson's place. For fantasy managers searching for a streamer in 2QB leagues, we've got you covered with our Week 16 fantasy football Superflex rankings (2QB) for fantasy football. For those unfamiliar with superflex leagues, it's a format that allows you to start two quarterbacks but does not require you.

More quarterback changes and injuries for fantasy managers to be aware of. The Falcons will go in a different direction with their starting quarterback and bench the struggling Desmond Ridder for Taylor Heinicke for the rest of the season. Ryan Tannehill is expected to start for Will Levis (ankle) in Sunday's game against the Seahawks. Levis is dealing with a high-ankle sprain and is not likely to start in Week 16. Here's where Heinicke, Tannehill, and other superflex options, such as Nick Mullens, Trevor Siemian, Baker Mayfield, Case Keenum, Antonio Gibson, Ezekiel Elliott, De'Von Achane, Josh Downs, and Chris Godwin, rank for Week 16.

Our fantasy football superflex rankings for Week 16 are put together by FSWA Hall Of Famer Scott Engel. In addition to our staff rankings, below you will find a summary of this week's important fantasy football injury news. There are always critical injuries to track, so check back until kickoff.

Week 16 Superflex Rankings Analysis

A new feature has been added to our weekly fantasy football rankings article. Below, you will find our fantasy football outlooks or the latest injury news for key options in Week 16, which gives readers a matchup preview of that player and advice on whether to start or avoid for the upcoming week. We provide outlooks for all 32 NFL teams, which can be found on our player profile pages and our fantasy football news desk.

Nick Mullens, QB, Minnesota Vikings
Week 16 Superflex Rankings: 49

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Nick Mullens will get his second straight start in Week 16 as the Vikings host the Lions. Mullens is coming off a 303-yard performance in his last start versus the Bengals, which puts him on the QB2 radar against a struggling Lions secondary.

The Lions have allowed the eighth-most passing touchdowns this season, which bodes well for Mullens who had two passing touchdowns a week ago. With Justin Jefferson, T.J. Hockenson, and Jordan Addison at his disposal, the former 49er could do some damage through the air in Week 16.

Ryan Tannehill, QB, Tennessee Titans
Week 16 Superflex Rankings: 87

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said that quarterback Ryan Tannehill will be the team's starting QB on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks if rookie Will Levis (ankle) is not available. Levis suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 15's overtime loss to the Houston Texans and is now firmly in danger of sitting out this weekend. For what it's worth, Levis was unable to practice on Wednesday, allowing Tannehill to take first-team snaps.

The 35-year-old dealt with a high-ankle sprain of his own earlier this year and missed three games, allowing Levis to take over the starting role in his first NFL season. Tannehill looked washed up in six starts earlier this year before getting hurt, going 98-for-158 for 1,128 yards, two touchdowns, and six interceptions. He'll be a low-upside, low-end QB2 in superflex leagues if he makes the start against Seattle.

Case Keenum, QB, Houston Texans
Week 16 Superflex Rankings: 81

Houston Texans quarterback Case Keenum has been confirmed as the Week 16 starter with C.J. Stroud (concussion) unable to play, according to KPRC's Aaron Wilson. Keenum drew the start over fellow backup Davis Mills last weekend, and while that decision seemed somewhat surprising, it paid off.

The veteran led the Texans to an overtime victory, completing 23 passes for 229 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. This week, he'll rank as a fantasy QB3 against the Cleveland Browns' strong defense.

Ezekiel Elliott, RB, New England Patriots
Week 16 Superflex Rankings: 84

New England Patriots running back Ezekiel Elliott rushed 11 times for just 25 yards during Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. On a more positive note, he also caught four of five targets for an additional 21 yards through the air. While the veteran did take a major step back from his breakout game in Week 14, he still flashed something that should give fantasy managers optimism: a significant role in the receiving game.

Elliott now has 16 catches for 133 yards over his last three games alone. In PPR leagues, that should keep him in the low-end RB2 tier for Week 16 against the Denver Broncos, with Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) ruled out already.

Geno Smith, QB, Seattle Seahawks
Week 16 Superflex Rankings: 20

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith (groin) was removed from the injury report on Friday. That means Smith should be back for this weekend's matchup versus the Tennessee Titans. This is a welcoming sight for the Seahawks, who have been without Smith for the last two games.

Drew Lock has played surprisingly better than expected, but having Smith back boosts the Seahawks' offense. Assuming Smith isn't limited, fantasy managers should be able to stream him as a QB2 this weekend.
