Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell was largely unproductive in his Week 1 debut but posted a strong fantasy outing in Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts. Naturally, the rookie was a hot waiver wire add heading into Week 3.

Now, fantasy managers who picked him up or are looking for last-minute flex plays are surely wondering whether they should start the University of Houston product in Week 3.

Jacksonville gave up eight receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown to Michael Pittman Jr. in Week 1 and three catches for 70 yards and a score to Skyy Moore in Week 2. However, secondary receivers like Josh Downs and Kadarius Toney didn't produce much against its defense.

That said, Dell has a wide range of outcomes for Week 3, and likely isn't worth starting in traditional-sized fantasy leagues. He is now an intriguing option in the flex spot for deep setups, but we can't overreact to one game in which quarterback CJ Stroud attempted 47 passes.
