New England Patriots - NFL Betting Analysis

This week, the Patriots will look to keep things rolling after picking up a non-conference win over the Arizona Cardinals (27-13). In addition to winning straight up, the team covered the spread as -2.0 point favorites. With an over-under betting line of 44, the two teams fell below that figure as they combined for 40. On their way to picking up a 14-point win, New England held a 7-point lead heading into the 4th quarter at 20-13. Through 13 games, the Patriots have an ATS record of 7-5-1. So far, they have an over-under record of 5-8. This week's betting total of 44.5 is slightly higher than the line in their previous games.

Heading into this week's matchup, the Patriots' offense is averaging 21.2 points per game, placing them 18th in the NFL. Look for the team to put together a strong offensive performance vs a Raiders defense giving up 24.1 points per game. Although the Patriots come into the game ranked just 21st in pass yards per game, they will benefit from facing a Las Vegas secondary that is vulnerable through the air. New England has stuggled this season on the ground, ranking just 23rd-ranked team in rush yards per game.

Las Vegas Raiders - NFL Betting Analysis

Coming off a 17-16 non-conference loss to the Los Angeles Rams, the Raiders will look to get back in the win column vs Las Vegas. Las Vegas lost the game, even though they entered the game as -6.0 point favorite. The over-under betting total going into the game was 41, which the teams did not surpass. This was a difficult loss for Las Vegas, as they held 10 point lead heading into the 4th quarter. Through 13 games, the Raiders have an ATS record of 6-7. So far, they have an over-under record of 6-6-1. This week's betting total of 44.5 is slightly lower than the line in their previous games.

As the Raiders prepare to take on New England, they have played well on offense, ranking 11th in points per game at 23.7. Even though they have a tough matchup against the league's 5th-ranked defense, look for Las Vegas to continue their strong offensive play. This season, Las Vegas has been one of the better passing teams in the league, averaging 233.5 yards per game through the air. Although the Patriots' defense has been able to limit opposing teams in the passing game, Las Vegas should still be able to continue to generate big plays through the pass. A key matchup to watch through the game is if Las Vegas will be able to run the ball with their usual effectiveness. Even though they are averaging 128.5 yards per game on the ground, look for them to struggle against a defense that can be tough to run against.

Today's NFL Betting Pick - Patriots vs. Raiders

Heading into the game, Las Vegas will look to turn things around in the series, as the Patriots have won each of the last 5 games. The over-under record in these games sits at 2-3, with the average scoring total coming in at 49.4 points. New England and Las Vegas did not play each other in the 2021-2022 regular season.

The New England Patriots have performed well vs the spread in recent games, going 2-1. On average, the Patriots have averaged 33.0 points per game in the past 5 head-to-head matchups, compared to Las Vegas at 16.4.

Over their last 3 regular season games, the Patriots have gone 1-2 straight up. Like their straight-up record, New England struggled vs the spread, going 1-2. Over these games, they put together an over-under record of 1-2.

Across their last 3 road contests, New England has been good against the spread posting a mark of 2-1. Their overall mark in these games was 2-1, while averaging 25.0 points per game.

Through their last 3 games, the Raiders have a record of 2-1. This also includes going 2-1 ATS and an over-under mark of 1-2

Las Vegas has played well in their previous 3 home games, going 2-1 straight up. In this stretch, they averaged 28.33 points per game while allowing 21.67. The team also performed well vs the spread at 2-1.

Recommended ATS Betting Pick: Patriots -1.0

Recommended OU Betting Pick: Under 44.5
